Seans Purple Heart

About seven weeks ago one of our vipers was terribly injured in the line of duty. But like a true Viper, our Sean picked himself up and soldiered on. Fingal airsoft and The Viper Squad wanted to recognise his bravery and were proud to present Sean with a Purple Heart medal and a 1911 pistol.

Viper squad Motto

Myself and Pete were having a late night chat on d'auld skype, and we realised that the Viper Squad as yet has no team MOTTO.
So i thought i might run a little competition to find one. All entries are welcome (steady now!)
I'll pick the three most suitable entries, and then we can all take a vote on the wining Motto. The winner gets a free pint off the rest of us at the Viper Squad Christmas party in December. We could even have the Motto translated into Irish?
All entries should be in by Tuesday 30th of September so we can vote for the winner in the Orchard at 7:30pm on Wednesday 1st of October.
Start thinkin' Lads!!

Flecktarn Kit

As you all know Viper Squad are using Flecktarn combats with an olive green vest as the Squad Kit. I found a good website with plenty of choice. Have a look.

Viper Squad - ROUGH NECKS

Rough necks are an elite section of the Viper Squad with a high level of training in:
· Rifle Skills
· Pistol Skills
· Radio Protocol
· Combat leadership
· Physical endurance
Rough necks also have a basic training in:
· Survival skills
· AEG maintenance
A Rough Neck Cadet must complete and pass a full weekend assessment covering all the above subjects. When a Cadet passes the assessment, the cadet will earn the GREEN BERET and the title of ROUGH NECK.
Rough necks are the only Viper Squad allowed to wear the highly respected Green Beret. The Green Beret lets every team know that the wearer is not just a Viper Squad member, but a member of the Viper Squad ROUGH NECKS.
Viper Squad members interested in enlisting as a Rough Neck Cadet should contact me directly.
Courses on all above subjects will be available and posted at a future date, as will a full breakdown of the assessment, timed trials, dates and equipment necessary to complete the assessment.
Good Luck! VIPER SQUAD HQ
